No, the Escape Lounge is open to everyone regardless of the airline or class of service flown.

Children are permitted in the lounge. Children aged 36 months and over will pay the standard entry price.

Children aged 0-35 months enter Escape Lounge for free. There is no need to contact us if your infant is under the age of 2 years old.

If your child is aged 25-35 months, please call free on 0808 168 6111 to make us aware.

No, the Escape Lounge no longer accept cash. We do accept payment via card on arrival at the lounge.

All major credit cards are accepted. All sales are final.

The Lounge dress code is smart/casual. Shorts must be tailored and of reasonable length. Sports attire is not acceptable, football and rugby shirts must be covered. Matching attire (such as hen or stag items), fancy dress, onesies, pyjamas, personalised items or any other items that may cause offence to other lounge users are not permitted.

  • East Midlands: The lounge is located after the shopping area, opposite Gate 17.

  • London Stansted: The entrance to the lounge is located between Coast to Coast and Pret A Manger in T1

  • Manchester T1: Follow the signs for 'Premium Lounges' along the walkway just before 'Dixons‘ and take the stairs or elevator to the Executive Lounge level where the Escape lounge is located.

  • Manchester T2: Turn left and pass 'Spinning Jenny' to the stairs located opposite Gate 209. Take the stairs up to where the lounge is located. Lift access is also available to the lounge opposite Gate 209.

  • Manchester T3: Turn left, pass 'Dixons' and take the elevator or stairs on the left hand side to Level 3. The lounge is located before the main Duty Free Shops adjacent to the 'BA Executive Lounge'.

Your Booking entitles you to a single visit in the Escape Lounge of up to 3 hours, from the booked time of arrival at the Lounge.

Our opening times are planned around typical flight times. We open bright and early with lounge time varying by location. Please check the individual lounge pages for details.

The Escape Lounge has a range of delicious, complimentary, prepared snacks and beverages available from the menu. For breakfast, you can help yourself to a selection of cereals and pastries, or maybe try some delicious yogurt.

During the rest of the day, you can feast upon some light snacks, including sandwiches, salads, pies and soups.

Please note that premium drinks are available at an extra cost and the range of food available may vary.

Yes – we are able to provide a range of gluten free items. Simply ask staff on arrival.

Yes, we welcome passengers who are simply transferring through the airport. Our Escape Lounge is available to provide a space to recharge and relax before your next flight.

Yes, our high-speed wireless Internet is separate from the airport's access and it is free of charge.

Our business offering includes:

  • Free of charge reservation of tables to enable meetings to be held in the Escape Lounge

Yes, contact us or call the lounge to reserve a space - whatever the occasion.

We provide a range of complimentary magazines and newspapers for use in the lounge by our guests. We also have a large screen television which will be displaying news programs.

We welcome passengers travelling on business or pleasure from any airline and any ticket class. We also accept passengers from DragonPass, Diners Club, Holiday Extras, Lounge Pass, Lounge Club, Lounge Key and Priority Pass – with access to each of our airport lounges subject to availability on the day of arrival.
