At Escape Lounges, we’re working hard to bring our airport lounges with a difference to as many travellers as possible. With seven lounges opening in early 2025, taking our total from 21 to 28, it’s now easier than ever to enjoy an Escape just for you, in new locations including Australia, Puerto Rico and Scotland.

Have a whale of a time in Brisbane

Our Escape Lounge in Brisbane Airport marks our first in Australia, and we’re beyond excited that travellers in the country can now enjoy an Escape to remember. The bespoke stamp for the lounge shows a whale, in a nod to the city’s location on the Gold Coast, making it ideal for whale watching expeditions.

When you enter the lounge, located on the International Terminal’s mezzanine level, you’ll be able to indulge in a freshly brewed barista-style coffee or a refreshing drink from our complimentary bar. To satisfy your appetite, there’ll be a delicious selection of hot and cold meals inspired by Brisbane's vibrant culinary scene.

Settle in and take a seat in Edinburgh

In the UK, we’re delighted to be venturing into Scotland with the opening of Escape Lounges at Edinburgh Airport. Located on the lower level next to Gate 4, our new space will offer a place to sit back and relax or plug in and work. As with all our lounges, guests will be able to enjoy hot and cold food, soft and alcoholic beverages, and ultra-fast, private WiFi, all included in the price of entry.

Go on, splash out in Kansas City

Our Escape Lounge at Kansas City International Airport is inspired by Kansas’s reputation as the city of fountains. A lighting feature in the lobby is designed to imitate water droplets falling from a fountain spray, while the ceiling over the bar evokes rings formed by water droplets on a pool.

The lounge, located on concourse A by Gate 5, will also have a rest and relaxation zone with a wall covering influenced by the city’s many public gardens to give a tranquil atmosphere. The finishing touches of the interior are provided by local artists including Suze Ford and Nathan Neufeld, and there’ll be handmade glass stemware from Belger Arts. We've also partnered with local supplier The Roasterie Coffee Company so you can enjoy the best of Kansas coffee while you wait for your flight.

Welcome to our slice of paradise in San Juan

In another first for Escape Lounges, we’re opening a lounge on the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico, in Luis Munoz Marin International Airport, San Juan. The lounge is inspired by the city’s vibrant, colourful colonial buildings, and its bespoke Escape Lounges stamp – a rising sun – references its glorious weather and crystal waters. The lounge is on concourse B, opposite Gate B2, where you can raise a glass with friends and family at our complimentary bar to celebrate your trip to paradise.

Fuel up before you fly at Tulsa

Our new lounge at Tulsa International Airport takes inspiration from the world’s tallest gas pump outside the nearby Heart of Route 66 Museum. The bespoke stamp we use to represent the lounge depicts the gas pump, but our ‘fuel up before you fly’ tagline is a fitting play on words: when you visit the lounge – located on the left straight after security – you can literally fuel up before you fly with our freshly made hot and cold dishes from a menu curated by our in-house chefs.

Northwest Arkansas, where lounging is a work of art

Our new Escape Lounge in Northwest Arkansas National Airport takes its inspiration from the stunning Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, which is housed in 134 acres of Ozark wildlife in a setting that unites the power of art with the beauty of nature.

Our lounge stamp depicts the outline for the museum, and our playful reference to lounging being ‘a work of art’ is us encouraging you to focus on sitting back and relaxing in our tranquil airport setting. The new lounge – which will have all the amenities you’ve come to expect from Escape Lounges – is located opposite the TSA Security Checkpoint and next to the walkway for Gates A1–A12.

Branch out in Portland

Our new Escape Lounge at Portland International Airport makes playful reference to Portland’s moniker ‘Stumptown’, which it earned after acres of forest were felled during the city’s early development. The stump image features in our bespoke stamp. As with all our Escape Lounges, you can expect to find a carefully curated space where you can plug in and work with our free WiFi, or sit back and relax in a cosy corner to enjoy some freshly prepared food or a celebratory drink from the bar.

Watch out for our announcements about each lounge opening, and stay tuned to be the first to hear about other exciting developments we have planned for the rest of 2025 and beyond!
